Georgina Girls Hockey Association, established in 1994, is a proud member of the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA). The club aims to promote and grow girls hockey in the Keswick area, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to develop and enjoy the sport. With a focus on teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship, the association offers both House League and Rep programs for players aged U9 to U18.
The Georgina Girls Hockey Association is committed to providing a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. Coaches, volunteers, and parents work together to support the growth and development of players both on and off the ice. The club values the importance of building strong relationships within the community and fostering a love for the game of hockey.
Throughout the season, the association organizes various events and fundraisers to support the program and engage with the community. From the annual Jingle Mingle event to the Hockey Feeds Hunger Ornament Fundraiser, there are plenty of opportunities for players and families to get involved and give back.
The Georgina Girls Hockey Association also offers on-ice officials training to ensure fair and safe gameplay for all participants. By investing in the development of officials, the club is dedicated to upholding the values of respect, integrity, and fairness within the sport of hockey.
