Gilly's Disc Golf, located at Wayfield Gorse in Snitterfield, Stratford-Upon-Avon, invites all disc golf enthusiasts to join them for an exciting event. The course is open year-round, but it's important to note that during the winter, the opening times and days may vary. It's always a good idea to check our booking section for availability on your preferred date.
We offer three different levels of difficulty to cater to players of all skill levels. If you're a beginner, the orange course is perfect for you. Intermediate players can challenge themselves on the white course, and advanced players can put their skills to the test on the blue course.
To enjoy our fantastic course, adults can expect green fees ranging from £7 to £9. For students and children, the fees are slightly lower. Due to limited parking space and to ensure a smooth flow of visitors on the course, booking is essential. So make sure you secure your spot in advance.
When it comes to attire, we recommend wearing robust boots or trainers as our course is located in a woodland area with potential trip hazards. It's also a good idea to wear trousers to protect against prickly branches and nettles. If the weather is wet, it's advisable to bring a cloth to wipe your disc dry and maintain your grip.
To cater to your needs, we have several facilities on-site. We provide porta-loos for your convenience and a pro shop where you can purchase discs and other merchandise. Payment is made easy with our card machine, and we also have seating areas for you to relax between rounds.
In the case of adverse weather conditions, with winds forecasted to be over 35mph, we prioritise your safety and close the course. If you've made a booking in advance, rest assured that you'll receive a refund. Your safety is our top priority.
Keeping track of your score is important and can be done in two ways. We provide a scorecard upon your arrival, or you can download the UDISC app, which also offers a digital map of the course.
Feeling parched or require a pick-me-up during your game? We've got you covered! We offer a range of refreshments such as soft drinks, water, and confectionery. If you're in the mood for a hot drink, indulge in a cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.
If you don't have your own disc, don't worry! As part of the green fee, we provide hire discs. However, if you prefer to use your own, that's absolutely fine too.
The duration of a round can vary depending on the course you choose. For a family of four, the orange course typically takes around 1 hour. The white course offers approximately 1.5 hours of playing time, and the blue course takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
We kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home unless they are assistance dogs. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the premises.
