Salisbury RFC Girls squad recently hosted three open to all Pitch up and Play sessions on the 20th, 27th, and 4th of December. If you've been wanting to try your hand at Rugby, this is your chance! Our Sunday morning sessions are perfect for girls who are interested in joining our amazing Rugby community.
For women looking to hone their skills, we also have training sessions every Tuesday from 18:45 to 20:00. These sessions take place at Castle Road on the floodlit training area, providing the perfect atmosphere to improve your game.
The girls' training, on the other hand, happens bright and early on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. You can find us at Hudsons Field, specifically at the top nearest the road. We recommend that participants come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear, including studded boots for enhanced grip on the field. Also, don't forget to bring shirts that can withstand contact training and a gumshield for added safety.
While water bottles are usually available for use, feel free to bring your own drinks if you prefer. And after all the hard work on the field, you can grab some delicious food from our open kitchen. It's the perfect way to refuel and chat with fellow Rugby enthusiasts.
When it comes to playing matches, don't worry about the match shirts – we've got you covered. However, you will need to purchase white shorts and green socks to complete the look. Luckily, these and other awesome merchandise can be found at our Club shop, which opens every Sunday morning. If you have any questions, just ask at the bar and our friendly staff will assist you.
