

Glasgow Salsa & WeeSalsa offers top-quality salsa classes in Glasgow, led by world-class instructors. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, our classes cater to all levels of salsa enthusiasts.
Our class schedule includes Level 1 and Level 2 classes, which take place on Saturdays at Studio 22 in central Glasgow. Level 1 runs from 4pm to 5pm, followed by Level 2 from 5pm to 6pm. However, please note that all classes have been temporarily cancelled until further notice.
Additionally, we offer Intensive Beginners Salsa Classes at Studio 22. The dates for the next intensive class are yet to be confirmed, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates. Most of our classes consist of 4-week courses that start on the first Saturday of each month.
For those looking for a more personalised learning experience, we provide private salsa classes. These sessions, available for individuals or couples, offer a focused environment to accelerate and maximise your learning. The basic rate is 50. 00 per hour per person or per couple, which includes studio hire.
We can either host the private class or travel to your preferred location, depending on the proximity.
Our instructors are led by James Castro, who holds over 16 years of experience in teaching salsa. Having travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, James has taught and performed at various salsa congresses and events. He is dedicated to teaching core fundamentals and building complexity level-by-level, offering a holistic approach to salsa instruction.
Glasgow Salsa & WeeSalsa operates in two convenient locations. Our Studio 22, located at Dance Glasgow on 22 Jamaica Street, Floor 2, provides a vibrant and spacious environment for our classes. We also have a location in the West End, at 37 Ruthven Lane (off Byres Road).
