Glendowie Social Badminton Club

🏸 Glendowie Social Badminton Club in Auckland is the place to be if you're 18-70 and keen for some fun on the court! Open to both guys and gals, the club's been smashing shuttles for over 20 years now.

Lee, the organiser, wants to welcome new members – especially if you've got a background in badminton, tennis, or squash. It's all about friendly games here, with no leagues or pressure, just a relaxed vibe. Beginners or pros, you're in for a good time!

This multicultural club loves a good social and, while there's no formal coaching, there's always someone to give you a hand. They play with top-notch Yonex plastic shuttles and switch courts and partners every 15 minutes to keep things lively.

Come join the fun at the Old Gym in Glendowie College on Crossfield Road. Every Thursday night from 9 March to the end of November, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm, there's a game waiting for you!

Membership is only $80 for the year, covering everything. Though the 2023 season is full, Lee is happy to hear from those interested. Reach out via email or the website contact form.
