

Gloucester Masters Swimming Club is a vibrant swimming club in Gloucester, UK. Founded in 1988 by the late Mike Phelps, the club aims to boost fitness through swimming and encourages members to join in Open & Masters events both locally and internationally.
If you're 18 or older, you're welcome to join. Competitions are fair, organised in 5-year age bands for swimmers of all levels.
Simon Cooper heads up the coaching team, with Craig Skinner and Morgan Davies, offering top-notch coaching to help everyone improve and reach their best.
Training happens mainly at GL1 Barton Pool with sessions twice a week: Sundays from 1:15 pm to 2:30 pm, and Tuesdays from 8:30 pm to 9:45 pm. There are also Thursday evening sessions at Twyver Pool and Barton Pool.
In summer, sessions are held at Sandford Parks Lido in Cheltenham, though it’s currently closed. Keep an eye on the website and social media for updates.
