Gloucester Swimming Pool Complex, located in Gloucester Park next to Gloucester Holiday Park in Gloucester, offers a fantastic swimming experience for all ages. The complex consists of three pools – a 50-metre 7 lane heated Olympic pool, a 14-metre solar heated toddlers pool with a dragon spray feature, and a 13-metre hydrotherapy pool.
The Olympic pool is heated to 24 degrees and is open from 6am to 6pm on weekdays during the October to April season. On weekends and public holidays between 30 September – 12 November and 16 March – 6 April, the pool is open from 11am to 3pm, and from 18 November to 10 March it is open from 11am to 6pm. The pool is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Entry fees for the Olympic pool are $5. 80 for adults, $4. 70 for pension and under 16, and $14. 00 for families.
Season passes and 3-month passes are also available at varying prices.
The hydrotherapy pool is open from 6am to 5pm on weekdays and is closed on weekends and public holidays. Entry fees for the hydrotherapy pool are $8. 50 for adults and $7. 50 for pension and under 16.
3-month passes are also available for individuals or families.
In addition to the pools, Gloucester Swimming Pool Complex offers various amenities and facilities. There are two free electric BBQs, shade structures, and large trees that provide ample shade. Canteen facilities are available on-site, as well as hot showers and toilet facilities. Qualified lifeguards are on duty at all times to ensure the safety of swimmers.
The complex also offers a gazebo area that can be used free of charge for parties, complete with tables and chairs. Banana chairs, noodles, and kick boards are available free of charge, and floating mats can be hired for $1 per hour. WiFi is also available for visitors.
