Goodrich Court Fishery is a fishing club located in Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of the Wye Valley, in the UK. Operated by Angling Dreams, the club aims to provide anglers with access to some of the best fishing venues and offer inspiration to fishing enthusiasts.
The club is based at Fishers, a high street retail store in Ross-on-Wye, where visitors can find up-to-date information about fishing on the river, purchase day tickets, season permits, and high-quality bait and tackle for fishing in the area. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler, Goodrich Court Fishery welcomes all fishing enthusiasts to join and enjoy the fishing opportunities available.
Access to the fishery is strictly by prior arrangement. Anglers must either have a pre-booked day ticket or proof of relevant membership. It is important to note that day tickets are not available on the bank, so anglers need to follow the proper booking procedure to secure their spot on the fishery.
To book a day ticket, anglers can visit the Angling Dreams website and locate the booking tab next to their chosen fishery. Clicking the tab will open a new email pre-addressed to bookings@anglingdreams. Co. nz, where anglers can state their preferred dates, venue, and the number of anglers.
Upon receiving the email enquiry, the club will check availability and provide confirmation or alternative options if the chosen dates are unavailable. A provisional booking will be held upon payment, with full payment required to finalise the booking. BACS is the preferred method of payment, and payment details will be provided in the email signature.
Once the payment is cleared, anglers will receive a final confirmation email with all the necessary information for their fishing trip. This includes the date, venue, and number of anglers, which also serve as the day ticket. This email will also contain PDF maps, directions, rules, parking permits, and any other relevant information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable fishing experience.
The club aims to respond to booking enquiries within 24 hours, but due to their active presence on the bank, it may sometimes take longer. Anglers are advised to contact the club again if they haven't received a response within 48 hours to avoid losing their provisional booking. It is important to check spam or junk folders as emails can sometimes be diverted there.
Angling Dreams kindly requests that anglers refrain from enquiries by telephone and instead use the booking procedure outlined on their website. This helps maintain an efficient and organised booking system.
