Grange Dance is a reputable dance school located in the charming suburb of Grange, in inner northern Brisbane. Led by the talented Miss Louise, Grange Dance offers a warm and inclusive environment for students to explore and develop their passion for dance.
At Grange Dance, the philosophy is centred around creating a nurturing and fun space where students can cultivate a love for the art of dance. The school is dedicated to providing a professional learning environment that celebrates each student's achievements and fosters an appreciation for the creative arts.
Under the guidance of Miss Louise, the classes at Grange Dance cater to students of various age groups. The Tinies (3-4 years) classes focus on developing fine and gross motor skills and school readiness through engaging activities. The Mini (5-6 years) dancers have the option to choose from rounded combo classes, allowing them to explore different dance genres. For the Junior dancers (7+ years), classes emphasise both technique and enjoyment, ensuring a well-rounded dance education.
Miss Louise, the founder and director of Grange Dance, brings a wealth of experience to the school. Originally from the UK, she received training in RAD and ISTD dance under the guidance of esteemed mentors. With a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre from the Laban Centre and advanced certificates in a variety of genres, Miss Louise is dedicated to continuously refining her skills and knowledge. She completed the Post Graduate Certificate of Education at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and furthered her teaching qualifications in Sydney before ultimately establishing Grange Dance in Brisbane.
Grange Dance operates on a comprehensive timetable and fee structure, designed to accommodate the needs of students and their families. To ensure that students find the right fit, Grange Dance offers trial classes, allowing prospective students to experience firsthand the welcoming and supportive environment of the studio.
In line with the school's commitment to quality dance education, Grange Dance follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabi for ballet and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) for Tap and Modern Theatre. By adhering to internationally recognised examination systems, students have tangible goals to work towards and demonstrate their hard work and dedication.
Whether your child is a tiny beginner or an aspiring young dancer, Grange Dance provides a range of classes and expertise to cater to their needs. With a genuine passion for dance and a dedication to nurturing each student's potential, Grange Dance is the perfect choice for those seeking a holistic learning experience in the world of dance.
