Janet Faveri Janet Faveri has been coaching in the skating world for over 20 years. She has coached individual skaters as well as synchronized skating teams at both the recreational and competitive levels.
Janet has a passion for working with young athletes and helping them develop not only their skating skills, but also their teamwork and leadership abilities. Janet is a Skate Canada certified coach and is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment for all skaters. Alyson Quan Alyson Quan has been involved in synchronized skating for over 15 years. She began her synchro career as a skater before transitioning to coaching.
Alyson has a strong background in dance and choreography, which she brings to her coaching style. She is passionate about helping skaters develop their skills, build confidence, and form strong bonds with their teammates. Marina Richards Marina Richards has been coaching synchronized skating for over a decade. She is a former competitive skater herself and brings that experience to her coaching.
Marina is dedicated to helping her skaters reach their full potential, both on and off the ice. She believes in fostering a love for the sport and a strong sense of teamwork in her athletes. PVSSC offers a range of programs for skaters of all experience levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. Founded in 2016, GVSSC was created from the merger of Pacific Ice Synchronized Skating Club and Coquitlam Ice Evolution Synchro. Despite being a relatively new club, GVSSC has a long-standing history of synchronized skating in BC, with skaters boasting dozens of local and national podium placements over the past 15 years. The club prides itself on providing a positive and supportive environment for skaters to improve their skills both as individuals and as team members.
GVSSC offers opportunities for skaters to represent BC at various competitions and performances throughout the year. The skaters on GVSSC's teams come from diverse backgrounds and have a range of experience levels, but they all share a common love for synchronized skating. GVSSC is a non-profit organization and is a proud member of Skate Canada.
