The clinic was equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a team of highly skilled and experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
The clinic offered a wide range of services, including individualized treatment plans, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, acupuncture, and more. Whether patients were recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or looking to improve their physical fitness, the team at Great Lakes Rehabilitation was there to help.
In addition to providing top-notch healthcare services, Great Lakes Rehabilitation was also committed to giving back to the community. The clinic frequently sponsored local sports teams, organized charity events, and volunteered at community health fairs. Jeff Scott was a beloved figure in the community, known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humour.
Despite the tragic loss of Jeff Scott in 2020, the staff at Great Lakes Rehabilitation continued to uphold his legacy and provide the same exceptional level of care to their patients. However, due to challenges in hiring new healthcare professionals, the clinic made the difficult decision to close its doors in January 2024.
Although Great Lakes Rehabilitation is no longer accepting new patients, the clinic's dedicated staff ensured that all existing patient health records would be maintained in a secure and confidential manner. Patients were encouraged to reach out to NorthShore Health Associates for their physiotherapy needs or to the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario for assistance in finding a new healthcare provider.
The legacy of Great Lakes Rehabilitation and Jeff Scott will always hold a special place in the hearts of the Simcoe community. The clinic's commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services and making a positive impact on the lives of their patients will be remembered for years to come.
