3 hour Mackerel/Sightseeing trip A shorter trip perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the coast and try their hand at mackerel fishing. All tackle and bait supplied. Available from April to October. Maximum of 8 people per trip.

2 hour Needles Boat trip A sightseeing tour around the famous Needles rocks and lighthouse area. Perfect for families or groups looking to explore the stunning coastline. Available on non-fishing charter days. Maximum of 8 people per trip.

Greg Pitt Sea Fishing is a family-owned and operated business that has been running private charter fishing and boat trips in Keyhaven since 1960. The business is run by skipper Greg Pitt, who has extensive experience in the industry.

The company specialises in private charter inshore fishing trips for smaller groups of up to 6 people. They offer 5 and 6 hour fishing charters, which are ideal for friends and family groups. These trips focus on mixed species fishing in the Needles area at the western end of the Isle of Wight.

In addition to the fishing charters, Greg Pitt Sea Fishing also offers two shorter private charters. The 3 hour mackerel/sightseeing trip allows guests to try their hand at mackerel fishing while enjoying the scenic views. The 2 hour Needles boat trip takes guests on a sightseeing tour around the famous Needles rocks and lighthouse.

All trips are for private charter bookings only, ensuring a personalised and enjoyable experience for every group. The boat, “OSPREY II”, is a 33-foot Lochin that is licenced and insured to carry up to 8 passengers. Safety is a top priority, and the boat is fitted with full life-saving equipment as required by the MCA code of practise.

Greg Pitt Sea Fishing encourages catch and release fishing, but guests are welcome to keep a fish or two of the more edible species for dinner. They do not offer specialist Bass fishing or wreck fishing trips.

Operating out of the picturesque harbour of Keyhaven in Hampshire, Greg Pitt Sea Fishing is perfectly situated on the southern tip of the New Forest National Park. The surrounding area offers stunning scenery and a relaxing environment for a day out on the water.
