About
Play is a set of bowls, which can be borrowed from the club when you first start out, and appropriate footwear. The rules of the game are straightforward, making it easy for beginners to pick up.
Bowls is a game that not only provides physical exercise but also mental stimulation. It requires strategy, precision, and concentration, making it a great way to keep the mind sharp. It is a social game too, with players often gathering for a chat and a drink after a match.
At Greystones Lawn Bowling Club, we have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, where members support each other and enjoy each other's company both on and off the green. We organise social events, competitions, and friendly matches with other clubs in the area, providing our members with plenty of opportunities to practise and improve their skills.
Whether you're a seasoned bowler looking to join a new club or a complete beginner wanting to try the game for the first time, Greystones Lawn Bowling Club is the perfect place for you. Contact us to find out more about joining and come along to one of our open days to see if bowls is the game for you. We look forward to welcoming you to our club.
