Gronant Bowmen is a dedicated target archery club located in the charming seaside town of Rhyl in beautiful North Wales. As a friendly and welcoming club, Gronant Bowmen is passionate about the sport of archery and aims to foster a sense of community among its members.
Situated at the north end of the Clwydian mountain range, Gronant Bowmen attracts archers from all over Flintshire, Denbighshire, and Conwy counties. In fact, some members even travel from as far as Cheshire and Merseyside to be a part of our club. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced archer, Gronant Bowmen welcomes individuals of all skill levels to join its ranks and share in the joy and rewards that archery brings.
Gronant Bowmen meets regularly for club shoots at various locations. Indoor shooting is held on Saturdays at the Rhyl Leisure Centre Sports Hall from 12pm to 4pm, and on Mondays from 7pm to 10pm. During the summer months, outdoor shoots take place at Ysgol y Castell Rhuddlan on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 12 noon, as well as on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 6pm (weather permitting). Visitors are always welcome to join in the shoots, provided they hold a current Archery GB membership.
