Downlands Equestrian, the renowned Horse Riding club in Warminster, invites all horse and pony riders to experience the thrill of our coloured marked hacking routes. Located on beautiful grass field margins, our routes offer a delightful mix of hills and flat terrain, perfect for enjoying a peaceful ride through the countryside.
It's important to note that our hacking routes do not include any jumps. So, if you're looking to test your horse's jumping abilities, kindly understand that jumping is strictly prohibited on Downlands Equestrian land. Safety is our utmost priority, and we want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all riders.
While exploring our hacking routes, you might come across some grazing animals along the way. We occasionally have sheep or cows peacefully grazing in certain areas. To ensure you have the most up-to-date information, do check our Facebook page or reach out to Sophie at 07734 299706 for the current grazing status and open routes. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting the presence of these lovely animals.
We kindly request all riders to leave their furry friends at home. Dogs are not allowed on the premises of Downlands Equestrian. This policy is in place to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for both horse and rider. We appreciate your understanding in keeping our four-legged friends at bay during your visit.
Lastly, as a responsible rider, we ask you to please ensure that all gates are kept shut. This helps maintain the integrity of our hacking routes and ensures that the horses and ponies in our care remain safe within their designated areas. Additionally, we kindly request that you refrain from riding on the set aside margins. These areas are not intended for riding, and we appreciate your cooperation in preserving their purpose.
We hope you have a fantastic time exploring our stunning hacking routes at Downlands Equestrian. We can't wait to see you there, embracing the joy of horse riding in the heart of Warminster.
