About
Halifax Track, known as one of the UK's top-tier outdoor RC racing spots, has been thriving for over 40 years under the Yorkshire Radio Control Model Car Racing Club. Once in central Halifax, the club now boasts a more impressive venue in West Vale, Greetland.
In 2005, Halifax Track hosted major events like the 1/10th 200mm Euro A's and the 1/8th 40+ & 1/10th 235mm Euros, earning international praise. The resurfaced track is now faster, with a state-of-the-art timing system supporting AMB and MRT personal transponders.
Visitors can enjoy an on-site café during race meetings. Club membership offers nearly year-round track access, with engine running allowed daily from 9 am to 8 pm. However, BRCA meetings close the track to members, who can still participate under BRCA rules.
Members can vote at the Annual General Meeting and attend monthly committee meetings. Pit lane access is 14+, while marshalling is 16+. BRCA insurance is included in the membership.
Located just 2 miles from Calderdale General Hospital, Halifax Track promises an exhilarating racing experience for both seasoned racers and newcomers. Join the fun world of on-road model car racing at Halifax Track!
