Welcome to Halstead Swimming Club! Established in 1965, we are a friendly and dedicated competitive swimming club located in Halstead, Essex. Our club consists of amazing kids, hard-working coaches, and supportive parents, making us one of the friendliest clubs in the area.

Halstead Swimming Club is proud to serve not only Halstead but also the surrounding villages such as Earls Colne, Colne Engaine, Sible Hedingham, Bures, and beyond. We train at the Halstead Leisure Centre, offering progressive squads for swimmers starting from 7 years old. In addition to competitive swimming, we also provide sessions for individuals who want to return to swimming after a break or those looking to enhance their fitness levels and gain a competitive edge through our Masters or Senior B squads.

Throughout the years, our teams, and swimmers have achieved great success at various levels of competition, including League, County, Regional, and even National championships. However, what matters most to us is the determination and enthusiasm that our swimmers bring to every event. Our swimmers constantly strive to surpass their personal bests and challenge themselves to swim faster than ever before. They have the opportunity to compete in prestigious venues like the Olympic London Aquatic Centre and Ponds Forge in Sheffield, as well as in venues across the East of England.

At Halstead Swimming Club, we believe in not only training hard but also in building resilience, discipline, strength, and stamina in our swimmers. Through their training, they forge lifelong friendships and enjoy the journey of swimming.

At Halstead Swimming Club, we are passionate about teaching racing stroke technique, diving and starting from blocks, tumble turns, and stamina and endurance training to help our swimmers achieve excellent physical fitness. We also give our members the opportunity to participate in competitions and showcase their skills. Boys and girls starting from 7 years old are welcome to apply for a trial and experience the joy of competitive swimming with us.
