In addition to regular season fixtures, Hamersley Netball Club hosts various events and activities throughout the year to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among its members. One of Hamersley Netball Club's proudest moments was when Honey Harrington was awarded the WDNA President's Cup in recognition of her outstanding performance during the 2023 season. The cup is bestowed upon the Fairest and Best Opens Division 1 athlete, voted by the umpires each week. Honey's achievement is testament to the club's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering success.
Hamersley Netball Club also takes pride in honouring its members' milestones. Toni-Marie Smith recently reached her 150th game milestone with the club. Since joining as a 12-year-old in 2014, Toni-Marie has excelled on and off the court, winning numerous grand finals and representing the state netball team multiple times. Her dedication, resilience, and infectious energy make her a true legend of the club.
