Harlequin Gymnastics Club, located in Romford, Essex, is a well-established sports club that has been promoting health and fitness through the sport of gymnastics for over 30 years. Founded in 1983, the club has gained recognition both nationally and internationally, competing in various competitions.

Housed in a full-time premises, Harlequin Gymnastics Club boasts top-notch facilities dedicated to gymnastics training. These facilities include a permanent full-sized sprung floor, specialised gymnastics equipment such as a tumble track, foam/sponge landing pit, vaults, uneven bars, and balance beams, among others. Under the expert and qualified guidance of British Gymnastics coaches, Harlequin Gymnastics Club offers a range of training levels to suit different needs. The club offers Pre-school classes, Recreational classes, Floor & Vault classes, and a Display Squad.

The Recreational classes are designed for children aged 4 and above, where they have the opportunity to learn basic gymnastic skills in a safe and enjoyable environment. Classes are scheduled on Monday to Thursday from 4:15 to 5:30 and on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:15.

Recreational gymnasts at Harlequin Gymnastics Club are encouraged to work towards the British Gymnastics Proficiency awards and have the chance to participate in club showcases and competitions. Monthly fees for these classes are 30 or 90 termly and can be paid via standing order. Additionally, a British and London Gymnastics membership, which runs from September to September, is required with an annual fee of 30.

For Floor & Vault classes, participation is by invitation or trial only. These advanced gymnasts focus and compete on floor exercises and vaulting, continuing to enhance their skills in a safe and enjoyable environment. Class timings for Floor & Vault vary from Wednesday to Saturday.

Similar to the Recreational classes, gymnasts in the Floor & Vault classes also work towards the British Gymnastics Proficiency awards, participate in club showcases and competitions. Fees for these classes vary depending on the number of hours per week and are payable by standing order. Gymnasts are expected to purchase the club leotard.

The Women's Artistic Squad classes at Harlequin Gymnastics Club are also by invitation or trial only. Concentrating on all four disciplines, including floor exercises, vaults, bars, and balance beams, these gymnasts have achieved numerous regional titles over the years. They have the opportunity to participate in both club and regional competitions and can be a part of the club's display team.

Gymnasts in the Women's Artistic Squad are required to have a British and London Gymnastics membership, which has an annual fee. Detailed pricing and information regarding this will be provided upon confirmation of a place in the squad. Additionally, gymnasts need to purchase the club leotard and tracksuit.

Harlequin Gymnastics Club also offers Acrobatic Squad classes, which are open by invitation or trial only. In these classes, gymnasts perform routines in pairs or groups to music, showcasing their balance and dynamic skills. Achieving numerous medals in both regional and national competitions, the Acrobatic Squad requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Gymnasts in this squad are required to purchase the club tracksuit.

This squad has been active for around 20 years and has had the opportunity to travel internationally, performing routines on different themes.
