About
John, the organiser from Harpenden RFC Squash Club, wants to share some exciting updates with the sports community. Located in Harpenden, the club has been around since 1967 and welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. With three courts on Redbourn Lane, the club operates alongside Harpenden Rugby Football Club.
The club features both men's and women's teams that compete in the Herts Leagues, reflecting its strong competitive spirit. The juniors section is also active, ensuring that young players get proper coaching to improve their skills.
Members can look forward to a lively calendar of events. Weekly Squash Club Nights offer a chance for friendly yet competitive matches, while monthly Social Squash 57 (Racketball) sessions provide a fun variation of the sport.
Regular box leagues for squash and squash 57 give members the opportunity to test their skills against different opponents. Junior and Ladies group coaching sessions happen weekly, fostering a supportive environment for skill development.
But it’s not just about the sport. The club takes pride in its social activities too, like the annual club dinner and fundraiser, which bring everyone together to celebrate the camaraderie that defines Harpenden RFC Squash Club.
With nearly 250 active members, the club offers good value for anyone looking to join, whether you're experienced or just starting out. For updates and more information, check out their website or follow them on social media. John encourages anyone interested to get in touch.
