Hawkestone Golf Club runs golf for players in and around Halcombe, with a nine or 18-hole course set on Kakariki Road between Halcombe and State Highway 1. The club is designed for all golfers, including learners, women and girls, youth, and players of all physical abilities. Visiting golfers can pay green fees and enjoy a relaxed, social environment, with Saturday and Tuesday club day competitions for men and women where visitors are welcome.
