With clear blue waters and perfect sailing conditions, HYC is a member-operated private sailing club with a rich history dating back to 1965. Our harbour accommodates 65 sailboats moored Mediterranean-style in a private cove, creating a picturesque setting against the backdrop of the rolling hills of Hawkestone.

As a non-profit organization, HYC places a strong emphasis on community ownership and involvement. For those looking to make HYC their home port, we are currently accepting new member applications for the upcoming 2024 season. Limited slips are available for sailboats up to 36 feet in length, with beams up to 12 feet and drafts up to 5 feet.
