Welcome to HeartFelt Yoga! Located in the heart of Blackfalds, Alberta, our small yoga studio is a peaceful and welcoming space for individuals looking to deepen their yoga practice. Nestled on the second floor of a building that also houses other wonderful businesses, such as Blackfalds Veterinary Clinic and Alpine Dental, HeartFelt Yoga is a bright and airy studio with five large windows, three of which overlook the vast Alberta sky to the east.
Upon entering the studio, you will be greeted with a warm and homey atmosphere that one student described as feeling like a big, cozy hug. With a sitting area adorned with lush greenery and a retail space stocked with yoga essentials, HeartFelt Yoga provides a nurturing environment for your practice. Our small class size, limited to 10 people, fosters a sense of community and connection among students. Owner Sandra Thorne, an experienced yoga instructor with a background in therapeutics, brings a personalized touch to each class, offering variations and options to cater to individual needs.
Sandra's diverse training, which includes E-RYT 500 hour certification, Yoga Therapist C-IAYT 800 hour certification, and Level Three Reiki practitioner credentials, informs her teaching style, which is both gentle and empowering. At HeartFelt Yoga, you can expect a slower-paced and unpredictable class that invites you to explore the needs of your body, mind, and spirit. With a focus on offering a safe and supportive space for self-exploration, Sandra's classes aim to leave you feeling nourished and grounded.
