Hellingly Bowls Club

Welcome to Hellingly Bowls Club, located in Hailsham, East Sussex. Established in 1968, our club is proud to be a part of the Hellingly Sports Club, situated on the lower Horsebridge Recreation Ground. Over the years, our club has grown significantly, attracting members from not only Hellingly but also surrounding towns and villages, while still maintaining a friendly village atmosphere.

At Hellingly Bowls Club, we have a beautifully maintained six rink green that was completely refurbished for the start of the 2016 season. The green is open from April to September, allowing members to enjoy the sport during the warmer months. Our clubhouse offers all the essential facilities for our members to relax and socialise.

New members are warmly welcomed, and we are renowned for our friendly approach to the game. We happily welcome individuals of all ages and abilities, offering tuition, equipment, and advice to those who are new to the great game of bowls. Whether you are a seasoned player or just looking to try something new, our club is the perfect place for you.

Throughout the year, we organise a variety of activities, including friendly matches, league fixtures, and county competitions. Our club also hosts tournaments and competitions, as well as fundraising events and fun evenings like Quiz Nights, Club Drives, Bingo, and Fish & Chip Suppers. There is always something exciting happening at Hellingly Bowls Club.
