About
HELUO WUSHU, under the guidance of its organizer, is a dedicated Kung fu school that has been part of the Barrie community since 2015. The school focuses on teaching traditional Chinese martial arts, including both Taichi and Kungfu, to local residents and those in nearby areas.
Billy, the organizer, ensures that the Taichi program covers Yang and Chen styles Taichi, as well as push hands. The program is designed to help participants gain the benefits of Taichi and apply its complex theory, principles, and techniques in their practice.
In the Kungfu program, students work on barehanded taolu and taolu with weapons, aiming to improve flexibility, internal and external strength, speed, stamina, balance, and coordination. Billy and his team are committed to helping students build a solid foundation in Chinese martial arts through rigorous training and discipline.
HELUO WUSHU is also an active part of the community, taking part in events like the Local Immigration Partnership by the County of Simcoe, the MMF Summit held by the University of Toronto in Blue Mountain, and Celebrate Barrie. The school has performed at various events in Barrie and surrounding areas, showcasing their skills and promoting martial arts.
