Join Brockhole on Windermere for the exciting return of the Heritage Garden Tours and Cream Tea event in 2024. Delve into the captivating history of the Brockhole gardens, designed by the renowned landscape architect Thomas Mawson in the late 19th Century.
Embark on a 45-minute guided tour through the gardens, uncovering the stories behind the family, house, and the stunning garden itself. The tour culminates in the restored Kitchen Garden, where you can meet with one of our Gardeners and explore the Kitchen Garden Exhibition in the Summerhouse.
As part of the experience, treat yourself to a delicious cream tea in the café, featuring a homemade scone, jam, clotted cream, and a pot of tea. Priced at £6 per person, the tour includes the garden tour and cream tea.
These exclusive tours are available on selected dates from March to November 2024. Booking is essential as spaces are limited to ensure a high-quality experience. The meeting point is at the main visitor centre courtyard, outside the shop.
