Founded by Seamus Higgins, a highly experienced swimming teacher and coach with over 20 years of experience, Higgins Aquatics takes a dedicated and personalised approach to swim instruction.

At Higgins Aquatics, the primary goal is to make swimming lessons fun and challenging for the swimmers. The team believes that the perfect age for children to start swimming on their own is 4 years old. The first priority is to ensure that each swimmer enjoys the water safely and develops their water skills. Small class sizes, with a maximum of 6 swimmers per class, allow for individual attention and focused guidance.

The swimming school places a strong emphasis on developing not only the four main swimming strokes but also various water skills. The experienced and passionate instructors work closely with the swimmers, guiding them through swimming basics to advanced techniques.

Safety is of paramount importance at Higgins Aquatics. The school integrates key water safety skills into every lesson, ensuring that children learn how to enter and exit the pool safely. Lifesaving skills are also taught as part of the learn-to-swim programme.
