Join the Hine Moana adventure during the Spring 2024 School Holiday Programme. This event is designed to support young women in the outdoors, offering a 2.5-day sailing experience with NZ Sailing Trust and a 2.5-day kayaking adventure with Auckland Sea Kayaks. Participants aged 13-18 will have the opportunity to build confidence in the outdoors while reflecting on their journey with self-respect and respect for Kaitiakitanga. The programme includes personal achievement, empowerment, and leadership development led by women role models. Participants will learn kayaking skills, camp in a safe environment, sail on maxi yachts, and engage in various outdoor activities like beach cleanups and raft building. The event aims to inspire young individuals by providing career insight and demonstrating that possibilities are endless with determination.
