Welcome to Hintlesham Fisheries, a beautiful fishing spot located in Ipswich, New Zealand. With a total of four lakes on site, we have a lake to suit every angler's preferences and abilities. Whether you're a specimen carp angler targeting the stunning VS Fishery Mirror carp or a predator angler aiming for the impressive 70lb catfish, there's something for everyone here.

Surrounded by the picturesque Suffolk countryside, Hintlesham Fisheries offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. As soon as you drive through the entrance gate, time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the serenity of nature.

Our selection of lakes is designed to cater to different fishing styles and interests. Specimen 1, our big carp water, boasts over 80 20lb+ fish, with the lake record currently standing at an impressive 35. 8lb. While not an easy lake to conquer, the rewards are definitely worth it.

If you're a catfish enthusiast, the Predator lake is the place to be. With catfish reaching up to 80lb, along with a healthy stocking of common carp, it presents an exciting challenge for anglers of all levels. The biggest carp caught from this lake weighed in at 29lb.

Specimen 2 has undergone a four-year stocking programme to elevate it to the same level as Specimen 1. With a lake record of 32lb, it houses a fantastic variety of twenty-plus fish, with the best-looking mirrors on the site. This lake is home to some truly stunning specimens.

For those seeking a different fishing experience, our match lake is filled with Carp, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Crucians, and skimmers. Whether you prefer pellet wagging or using a method feeder, you can expect a rewarding day of fishing. Our match record stands at an impressive 260lb of fish caught in a 5-hour match. This lake is not only great for young anglers to learn their trade but also offers the chance for specialists to find some specimen Tench and Perch.

At Hintlesham Fisheries, we understand the importance of having a well-stocked fishing shop. We offer a range of pellets that we use to feed the fish on-site, which can be conveniently purchased from the shop.
