Hitchin Belles Football Club

Welcome to Hitchin Belles Football Club, the home of female football in North Hertfordshire. Established in 1999, we are proud to be an FA Charter Standard Development Club. Our club consists of teams ranging from under 5's all the way up to adult level, with over 450 registered players currently involved.

Our youth teams participate in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League, while our adult teams compete in the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Women's Football League. Our home ground is The Priory School, located on Bedford Road in Hitchin. It is here that our players come together to train, play matches, and develop their skills.

We are pleased to announce that registration for the upcoming 2023/24 season is now open. If you are a new player looking to join a team, we encourage you to apply and become a part of our growing football family. For those who have already joined, it is time to pay your registration fees and secure your spot on the field.

At Hitchin Belles, we are committed to supporting female coaches. As we enter our 24th season, we have initiated a dedicated programme to ensure that every team has at least one female coach by the end of 2028. We believe that having female role models on the coaching staff is crucial for the development of our players. Football at our club is thriving, and we are excited about the future.

We are also thrilled to announce that the Norwich City FC Regional Development Programme will be offering exclusive player development sessions for Hitchin Belles FC players. Following the high demand last season, we have expanded the age groups and added an hour for these training sessions. This presents an incredible opportunity for our players to enhance their skills and learn from the best in the industry.

As a non-profit community club, we rely on the support of sponsors to continue providing a positive football experience for our girls and women. We are in need of sponsors to help cover the costs of running our teams, which amounts to approximately 3,000. Every contribution we receive goes directly back into supporting our players.
