Holymoor Riding School

Holymoor Riding School, situated near Chesterfield in Derbyshire, offers a range of horse riding lessons and hacks suitable for all skill levels. Under the leadership of Ginny, a BHS-qualified instructor with over 30 years of experience and a Bachelor of Equine Science, the school provides top-quality education in riding and stable management.

Joining Ginny is Becca, a former client turned staff member, who contributes to the seamless operation of the school. Kate, also a previous client, now offers private and group lessons following her ABRS instructor training, continuing the tradition of sharing a love for horse riding.

As an affiliate of Riding for the Disabled (RDA), Holymoor Riding School caters to neurodiverse individuals, offering group and one-on-one sessions. A team of passionate young volunteers assists in the lessons and the care of the horses, ensuring a supportive environment for all.

Prospective riders are encouraged to book in advance, as the school often reaches full capacity. Visitors are reminded to adhere to safety guidelines, including a maximum driving speed of 10mph on the premises and avoiding bringing dogs to ensure the safety and comfort of both horses and riders.
