The club teaches Hontai Yoshin Ryu jujutsu (ju jutsu), including grappling, joint-locking, sweeping and throwing. Training also includes kenjutsu, bojutsu with a staff, and iaido.
Yes. Kenjutsu uses wooden swords (bokken) with a partner for safety. Bojutsu is practiced with staff techniques, and iaido focuses on the defensive sword draw response.
Training emphasises physical fitness, flexibility and technique, plus mental discipline. The school links progress to combining these facets with commitment through hard training.
