Hoops

Hoops is Tamworth's first purpose-built indoor half-court basketball training facility. It boasts a full-size 72" acrylic backboard, a competition standard ultra-flex spring-loaded ring, and specialist sports performance flooring. The court features regulation backboard, ring, and floor markings, making it suitable for up to 8 players. In addition, there is a viewing gallery with seating for spectators to enjoy the games.

The basketball court at Hoops is available for bookings for players of all levels. Whether you're looking to have some fun with a friend in a 1v1 game or you're aspiring to become the next LeBron James and want to seriously improve your skills, the court is open to everyone. Free play sessions for 1–8 players are available, as well as coaching sessions for individual training and parties with up to 15 ballers.

The opening times of Hoops are as follows: Monday – Friday from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. With these flexible hours, basketball enthusiasts can easily find a time to come and enjoy the court.

Hoops is not just a basketball court, but a community hub for local basketball enthusiasts. They strive to bring the local basketball community together by sharing the latest news, information about local basketball clubs, upcoming events, and even tips on how to improve one's game.

Hoops is owned and operated by Scott and Laura Evans, along with Wayne Brooks. Scott and Laura have a background in managing businesses, while Wayne is a Level 2 Basketball Coach and the Founder of Tamworth Grassroots Basketball Academy. They all share a passion for basketball and aim to raise the profile of the sport and make it accessible to the local community.

On-court activities at Hoops include individual training sessions, group sessions for 2v2 or 3v3 games, birthday party sessions with a qualified coach, and 1-1 skills sessions with a trained skills trainer/coach. The facility is known for its high-quality standards, with regulation backboard, ring, and floor markings.

Hoops provides an opportunity for players to play alone or with their friends, accommodating up to 8 players per session. They also offer 1-1 coaching sessions for players who want to master their skills on the court.
