The Dabchicks Sailing Club is excited to host the Hornet National Championships 2024, sponsored by Exe Sails. The event will be held from the 13th to the 16th of July 2024. Competitors need to be members of the UK Hornet Class Association, with separate categories for Youth and Masters based on age.

To participate, there is an entry fee of £210.00, which includes 3 evening meals. Competitors are required to present a valid measurement certificate and have third-party liability insurance coverage of ₤3,000,000.
Apart from some thrilling on-water action, the event will also feature various social activities, including a Friday Early Arrivals Bar, a Welcome Reception on Saturday, Hornet Class AGM, BBQ on Sunday, Championship Dinner on Monday, and Prize Giving Ceremony on Tuesday. Accommodation options will be available at the Colchester XI Sea Scouts headquarters.
