Tasman Horse Rides is excited to announce a unique opportunity for adult riders or adults returning to riding. Our horse lease programme is designed for those who are unable to own their own horse or are not yet ready for the full responsibility of horse ownership.
Under the horse lease programme, we offer a select number of horses available for lease. Participants will have access to their leased horse on weekends between 10.30am and 2.30pm. We provide all the riding gear you'll need, including a fitted saddle, saddle blankets, bridle, halter, and grooming equipment. Rest assured, we take care of all the horse's needs, from grazing and feeding to hoof care and drenching. Safety is our top priority, so helmets are provided for all participants.
To get started, simply sign a lease agreement with Tasman Horse Rides. The monthly cost of the lease is $210.00, payable through a convenient direct debit. Before finalising the lease, our lease coordinator will meet with you to discuss all the terms and conditions. We want to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
As part of the lease programme, you'll have the opportunity to meet our horses, hosts, and explore our expansive property. We have open spaces, adventure trails, and an outdoor arena for riding and lessons. After a trial period and orientation, you'll have the freedom to ride unsupervised over our beautiful farm. We encourage riding in pairs or small groups for added safety, and we kindly request that you carry a cell phone at all times.
At Tasman Horse Rides, we are committed to making sure you have a positive experience. If the initially leased horse doesn't turn out to be the perfect match, we'll arrange for a different horse that suits your needs and preferences.
If, for any reason, you need to terminate the lease, simply notify us, and the lease will end at the end of the currently paid month. We want you to have the flexibility and freedom to do what's best for you.
