For aspiring sailors, Howick Sailing Club provides a comprehensive 'Learn to Sail' programme. Juniors can begin their sailing journey with beginner courses and progress through various racing programmes such as 'Learn to Race,' 'Rainbow,' and advanced Race Training programmes.

The club organises an exciting race programme on Sunday afternoons, catering to both juniors and seniors. This programme includes a mixed fleet of sailing dinghies and catamarans, such as Optimists, P's, Starlings, Lasers, Zephyrs, Paper Tigers, A Class cats, and even wingfoilers. Howick Sailing Club also hosts various holiday courses and programmes for members to further hone their skills and enjoy a range of sailing experiences throughout the year. Members have the opportunity to participate in Learn to Sail Level 1&2 Holiday Courses, Learn to RACE/Level 3 Holiday Programmes, and the annual 2023/2024 Season Registration.
