Tom is calling on all sports players to step up for an exciting opportunity with Hutt Valley Riding for the Disabled. Volunteers will dive into sessions focused on grooming, tacking up, and overall horse care. On the field, they'll support riders by leading horses or side-walking to ensure safety. Tom also needs help with setting up equipment, managing schedules, and guiding both riders and other volunteers. Off the field, there's a chance to assist with admin tasks like record-keeping, fundraising, and event planning.
Tasks will align with the needs of the RDA and each volunteer's unique skills. No horse experience necessary—training will be provided. But you must be fit and ready to brave all weather conditions in the great outdoors.
