Each week, you'll progress through different levels, mastering essential skills like forward and backward skating, stopping, edges, and transitions. The course has been designed to create a safe, active, encouraging, and fun learning environment. To participate in this exciting course, you'll need a “Skate UK Record of Achievement” book, available for just £3 each. As you pass each level, you'll receive a certificate for only £2 and have the option to purchase a badge for £3. It's a great way to commemorate your progress and showcase your achievements. Oh, and before you start the course, make sure you can confidently make your way onto the ice and stand unaided. This is a small step towards ensuring a smooth start.
Booking for the courses is now open and can be made at any time, but please note that the first week is exclusively for current participants. After that, the bookings will be open to new customers as well, so it's always a good idea to secure your spot early.
Here's the schedule for the course: Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for Grades 1-4 and 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm for Grades 5-8. Alternatively, you can join on Sundays from 10:30 am to 11:00 am for Grades 1-4 and 10:00 am to 10:30 am for Grades 5-8. The course fee is £62 for 6 lessons, either on Thursday or Sunday. If you're truly committed and want to attend both days, you can sign up for 12 lessons at a discounted price of £95.
