At IceTyme Skating School in Alliston, Ontario, skaters of all ages and skill levels can learn to skate in a safe and encouraging environment. Established in 2011, our school serves the communities of Adjala-Tosorontio, Essa, Innisfil, and New Tecumseth. Our mission is to teach strong skating skills and promote good sportsmanship while having fun on the ice.
We offer a range of programs to cater to the diverse needs of our skaters. Our Learn to Skate Program focuses on teaching balance, control, and fundamental skating skills through six progressive levels. Skaters work with certified coaches in 50-minute sessions to advance their skills. For hockey players looking to improve their skating technique, our Power Skating Program emphasizes proper execution of skills and speed to enhance stability and power on the ice.
Our Beginners Program is designed for new skaters and young children looking to build confidence and strength on the ice. We start with the basics of standing and moving without assistance before progressing to more advanced skills. The Hockey Development & Skating Program is tailored for skaters with previous experience, focusing on stick and puck skills as well as skating technique.
We offer a convenient spring skating schedule on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre. All dates and times are subject to change, so we recommend following us on Facebook for updates. Registration is now open, with fees set at $165 per skater for each session.
