Ickenham School of Dance is a dance school located in Uxbridge, offering high-quality dance education for students of all ages and abilities. With a team of experienced and qualified teachers, we strive to inspire, nurture, and help our students succeed in their dance journey.
At Ickenham School of Dance, we offer a wide range of dance styles, including Ceccetthi Ballet, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Acrobatic Arts. Our classes are structured to cater to different levels, from beginners to advanced dancers, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention and progresses at their own pace.
Our classes run throughout the school term, and we also host workshops during the school holidays, providing ample opportunities for students to enrich their dance skills and explore different styles. We believe in the importance of performing opportunities, and therefore, we organise a bi-annual show at The Farrer Theatre, Eton, where our students get to showcase their talent and hard work.
For those who are looking for more challenging experiences, we have a selective Competition Team where dancers have the chance to compete in annual competitions. This team allows dedicated and passionate dancers to push their boundaries and strive for excellence in a competitive setting.
We are proud to announce that our students have achieved remarkable results in their recent exams, with a 100% pass rate. In Standard 1 Ballet, Indiana, Sophie, and Maia received distinctions, while Bella, Livia, Nina, Darcey, Amelie, Willow, and Lily received distinctions in ISTD Grade 1 Modern. Imogen, Dolly, Kara, Emma, Lacey, Lottie, Orlaith, Skye, Nethaya, and Molly also received distinctions and merits in ISTD Grade 2 Modern.
Furthermore, our company members have garnered recognition and accolades in the Mid-Bucks dance festival, placing in every section they entered. We're extremely proud of their professionalism on and off-stage. Imogen received the highest scoring modern solo, Orlaith received the highest scoring lyrical solo, and our very own Miss Levi won the Choreography award. These achievements showcase the talent, hard work, and dedication of our dancers.
