Ilyo Taekwondo Club Ireland

Ilyo Taekwondo Club Ireland is a martial arts school located in Swords, offering classes for students of all ages and experience levels. As a member of the Irish Taekwondo Union, the club provides training in Olympic-style Taekwondo, self-defence, sparring, fitness classes, and poomsae (patterns). Students have the opportunity to compete in professionally-run competitions and represent Ireland at the Olympics through regional team selections.

The club is named Ilyo, after a ninth-degree pattern that translates to unity or oneness in Korean. The focus of the club is on teaching students the Korean martial art of Taekwondo in a friendly and hard-working environment. With fully insured and accredited coaches, Ilyo Taekwondo Club offers a structured pathway for success, following a full black belt Korean grading syllabus.

New beginners classes are starting now for Lil Dragons (4–10 years), Cadets, Teenagers, and Adults. Whether you are looking to try a new hobby or sport, Ilyo Taekwondo Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for all students. Class times are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with options for different age groups and skill levels.
