Impulse Dance Academy (Impulse DA)

Michelle Knight, the organiser of Impulse Dance Academy, has a message for the sports community. Impulse Dance Academy, affectionately known as Impulse DA, has been a cornerstone in Warrington since May 2010. Initially starting out at Abram Community Centre, they've now found their own space in the heart of Golborne Town Centre.

Michelle runs a variety of dance classes for kids aged 2½ and up. Whether it's Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Acro, Musical Theatre, Street Dance, or Contemporary, there’s something for everyone. The academy follows the International Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, a well-respected program ensuring top-notch dance education.

At Impulse DA, the goal is straightforward: creating a fun and welcoming environment where children can learn and grow. Michelle aims to keep dance accessible and affordable, giving every child the chance to chase their dreams.

They’ve also made registration and communication easy with a handy mobile app available on both Android and Apple devices. This app lets parents register their kids, keep up with class schedules, and receive announcements.

Michelle is proud of the credentials and dedication of her team. She’s qualified with the ISTD examination board, trained in Health and Safety, Lifespan Development, and fully CRB checked.

Interested parents and students can register for classes through the app or the academy's website. Fees are straightforward, with classes priced at £4.50 each and private sessions at £13.00 for the 2020-2021 year. There’s a conditioning scheme available, starting from £8.99 for one class. New students can pay on the day for their initial classes before setting up a standing order for future payments.
