Inkpen Outdoor Sports Pavilion

You are interested. Our club, the Inkpen Outdoor Sports Pavilion, is located in Hungerford, New Zealand. We offer various sports facilities and activities for our members and the local community.

One of our main features is the Inkpen Tennis Courts, which are now open for members. We encourage social distancing when both courts are in use, and membership fees for this year range from 25 for individuals to 50 for families with children under 18. These fees play a crucial role in maintaining the courts and nets in a playable condition.

Additionally, we are excited to announce the upcoming Gibbet Challenge 2021, a 10K race taking place on Sunday, June 27th at the Inkpen Memorial Playing Field. We invite runners of all levels to participate and enjoy the race. Volunteers are also needed to help marshal the route, and we encourage anyone interested to get in touch with Simon Hanna.

One of the highlights of our club is the Inkpen Cricket Club. As the season opens, we are thrilled to showcase our newly built pavilion, generously sponsored by Christian Alba's Butchers in Hungerford. Our team recently played a match against Kennet Valley, with a beautiful backdrop of the pavilion and a well-maintained wicket. Although we fell just short of victory, the match was thoroughly enjoyed by socially distanced spectators and showcased the spirit of village cricket.

In another match, we travelled to the picturesque village of Urchfont in Wiltshire. Despite a batting collapse, we had a wonderful day in the sunshine and are excited for our next match. As a cricket club, we are grateful for the opportunity to play again and always welcome new players to join our team.
