Farnham Archers is excited to host an Introduction to Archery course for anyone interested in giving it a try or taking their first steps into the world of archery. This course is designed to cater to individuals of all physical capabilities and is a fantastic opportunity to explore archery as a hobby.
The course is a 6-hour-long session that will take place over a full day. Throughout the course, the safety of all participants is of utmost importance. The instructors will ensure that everyone shoots safely and feels secure throughout the entire experience. But it's not just about safety; it's also about having a great time. Farnham Archers wants all participants to enjoy the course, create incredible memories, and hopefully develop a passion for pursuing archery further.
Don't worry about bringing your own equipment; everything you need will be provided. All you have to do is choose a convenient date to attend. And as an added bonus, tea, and coffee will be available all day at no extra charge. If the weather permits and there are enough interested participants, there may even be a BBQ (charges apply) to make the day even more enjoyable. However, we will confirm this closer to the event. Additionally, snacks and other soft drinks can be purchased on the day.
Now, let's talk dates. The course will be conducted on various dates throughout 2024, including April (exact date to be confirmed), May, June, July, and September. Mark your calendars! Each course will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
As for the fees, they are incredibly reasonable. Adults will be charged £50, while juniors (under 18, minimum age 10) will only need to pay £30. These fees are a one-time charge and include all necessary equipment and instruction for the day.
