Home to the Mackenzie Muskrats Swim Club, our aquatic centre is the largest and only year-round pool in Canada north of the Arctic Circle. The facility also features the longest waterslide in the Territories, making it a popular destination for both residents and visitors.

Dubbed a "tropical paradise" in the winter months, the Inuvik Swimming Pool offers a range of programs and activities for all ages. From swim lessons using the Lifesaving Society Swim For Life program to aquafit classes, public swims, family swims, lane swims, and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The facility is also available for pool rentals, perfect for birthday parties or special events.

For those looking to become certified lifeguards or swim instructors, the pool offers a Town of Inuvik Lifeguard & Swim Instructor Certification Pathway. The facility also provides leadership programs such as Swim Patrol, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, NLS, and Standard First Aid.
