Sledge hockey, also known as Para Ice Hockey, follows the same rules as traditional ice hockey with six players on each side, including a goalie. Players sit on sledges equipped with skate blades and propel themselves using specially designed hockey sticks with pick ends. The Islanders Sledge Hockey Club boasts an impressive track record, with the 2023 Intermediate C finalists and the 2024 London Blizzard Gold & Silver medalists in both the open and Intermediate C divisions.
