Ewa is a highly qualified and experienced Yoga instructor, specialising in Iyengar Yoga in Wolverhampton and Birmingham. With a Master's degree in physical education and a qualification as a Junior Intermediate Iyengar yoga teacher Level II, Ewa is dedicated to providing her students with a nurturing and transformative yoga experience.
Ewa's journey in yoga began under the guidance of experienced Iyengar yoga teachers in Poland. Since moving to England in 2013, she has been regularly attending classes at the prestigious Iyengar Yoga Institute in Birmingham. There, she is taught by Jayne Orton, a Junior Advanced level 1 teacher, and Andrew Hall, a Senior Teacher Level I. Ewa also participates in workshops conducted by senior Iyengar Yoga teachers to deepen her personal practise and knowledge about yoga.
To further immerse herself in the Iyengar method, Ewa has spent substantial time at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India. In December 2014, February 2016, February 2018, and February 2020, Ewa dedicated an entire month to learning and practising yoga at the institute where the Iyengar method was established.
For Ewa, yoga is not just a physical practise but also a path to inner peace and self-discovery. It provides her with strength, opens her mind, and allows her to view the world and people around her with a different perspective. Yoga has become an integral part of her life, bringing her great joy and fulfilment.
In Ewa's classes, students can expect a focus on improving strength, stamina, flexibility, and the ability to relax. One of the distinguishing features of Iyengar yoga is the use of props, such as foam blocks, belts, and blankets, to assist students in achieving their full potential in various asanas. Initially, these props will be provided during classes, but students may choose to purchase their own equipment for home practise.
Ewa's classes are open to students of all levels, from beginners to more experienced practitioners. She creates a supportive and inclusive environment where students can feel comfortable and safe to explore their practise. Ewa encourages her students to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing, such as leggings or shorts and a t-shirt, and to practise in bare feet.
If you are looking to improve your physical and mental well-being, Ewa's Iyengar Yoga classes in Wolverhampton and Birmingham are the perfect choice. Join her in the journey of self-discovery, strength, and relaxation on the yoga mat.
