Established with a mission to advocate for the management of fish, wildlife, and habitat for the benefit of club members and the public. The club is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation and the Alberta Fish and Game Association.
The club believes that fish and wildlife resources enhance the quality of human life and that the traditions of recreational hunting and fishing should be valued by future generations. The club promotes education and recreational programs and activities, as well as supports organizations with similar purposes in lobbying government and private agencies to safeguard the interests of fish and wildlife populations. Additionally, the club aims to promote outdoor ethics and safety among its members.
Monthly meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, alternating between winter and summer locations. Winter meetings take place at Lloydminster Grace United Church, excluding December, while summer meetings are held at the LDFGA Youth Centre, except July. The club welcomes the whole family to participate in outdoor activities and encourages a love for nature and conservation.
