JBTC Badminton GYM

Located in Bedford, JBTC Badminton GYM is a badminton complex spanning over 10,000 square feet of professional facilities dedicated to badminton training and competition, making it one of the top facilities in Atlantic Canada. The complex offers a range of training programs suitable for all levels of players, from beginners to high-performance athletes.

With a 360-degree view of success, JBTC Badminton GYM boasts an impressive roster of coaches including Ruiwen Zhu, Kevin Yan, Gary MacDougall, Yu Chen, and Leon Fu, who collectively lead various training programs such as the High-Performance Team, Nova Scotia Provincial Team, Advanced Program, and Junior Development.

The complex offers a variety of training programs to cater to different skill levels and training goals. The Beginner Program focuses on basic motions, shots, footwork, and fitness training, with sessions held on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $160 per month. For more advanced players, the Advanced Program covers advanced skills, footwork breakdown, multi-shuttle practice, and tactical instruction, with sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for $200 per month. Additionally, the Intensive Training Program provides specific skill training, full-court footwork, technique training, and competition strategy on Sundays for $120 per month (4 classes).

Throughout the year, JBTC Badminton GYM has seen tremendous success, with 69 players in training and 23 champions crowned. The complex is a hub of champions in training and competition, with a strong focus on developing players to reach their full potential in the sport of badminton.
