Operating from 6am to 9:30pm daily, JCU Fit 101 provides convenient access to those with busy schedules. The gym is staffed during specific hours to ensure the safety and assistance of all members. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are available to answer any questions and provide guidance on equipment usage and fitness programmes.
To maintain a clean and hygienic environment, JCU Fit 101 enforces strict conditions of entry. All members must bring their own clean, freshly laundered towel of a minimum size of 69 cm x 137 cm. Sharing towels is strictly prohibited for hygiene reasons. If you have been unwell in the last 2 weeks with symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, or shortness of breath, entry will be refused.
Good hand and respiratory hygiene practises are encouraged, and equipment must be wiped down before and after use with the provided cleaning products.
JCU Fit 101 also prioritises the health and safety of its members during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Symptoms such as fever, dry cough, tiredness, aches and pains, sore throat, and shortness of breath may indicate COVID-19 infection. Serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, or loss of speech or movement should be taken seriously. If any symptoms arise, members are encouraged to seek medical advice and follow the recommended guidelines.
